TipHaus Reconciliation Process

TipHaus offers a robust reconciliation process designed to manage and correct discrepancies in tip distributions when adjustments to the data in your POS or TipHaus are made. This process can be utilized within the current pay period.

How does the reconciliation process work through pay periods?

  • Reconciliation is separate from pay periods. If an underpayment or overpayment isn't resolved by the end of a pay period, the amount is moved to the "Amount Withheld" or "Available to Payout" columns in the ETA Overview page, depending on your company's policy for post-period payouts.


How to Explain Reconciliation to Employees

When a reconciliation process causes an employee's paid amount to differ from their expected take-home pay, verify the details using the ETA Page as the source of truth.

Procedure for Reviewing Pay Discrepancies:

  1. Access ETA Page: Navigate to the main ETA interface.

  2. Select Overview Tab: Click on the Overview tab.

  3. Locate Employee: Identify the relevant employee in the list.

  4. View Reconciliation Data: Click the blue number within the employee's Amount Paid Out column.
