ETA®: How to Update a Linked Bank Account

You can update the business bank account associated with the payouts for the Earned Tip Access (ETA) program as needed.

Section 1: Initiating the Update Request

Procedure: Requesting the Business Account Change

  1. Contact Support: Contact us using the chat feature at www.tiphaus.com or by emailing [email protected].

  2. State Need: In your request, explicitly state that you need to update the business bank account for ETA payouts.

  3. Next Step: Once the request is received, we will email a new bank account link form to your bank registrar.

Section 2: Completing the New Account Registration

Linking the New Bank Account

1. Locate Email: The bank registrar will receive an email from Tiphaus.

  • Troubleshooting: If the email is not found in the primary inbox, check the spam or junk folders.

2. Start Linkage: Click the "Link account" button within the email.

3. Prompt: You will be prompted to connect the new bank account.


4. Choose Method: Choose the method for linking your bank account.

5. Select Institution: Select your bank or financial institution.

6. Log In: Follow your bank's prompts to securely log in.

7. Connect and Approve: Connect your account information via your bank's interface and approve the connection. You should see a confirmation that the account was successfully linked.


Procedure: Assigning the New Account to a Location

After you link the new account, you must assign it to one or more of your TipHaus locations from the bank account link form.

  1. Navigate to Assignments: Go to the "Account Assignments" section.

  2. Select Account: Select the newly linked bank account from the drop-down box to associate it with the location.

  3. Save: Click the "Save" button.

4. Confirmation: A green pop-up should appear, confirming that the account assignment was successfully updated.
